I have had a problem with a company called Shrimp-Butler. They sold me a refurbished(that is putting it nicely) model and the handle broke the first day I used it(received on 03-01-07). I am asking that if any of you have time to please call or email this company on my behalf to get their attention. I have called them and emailed them over a dozen times now trying to talk to someone to resolve this matter. Here is the copy of the email my daughter sent them. Anything like this would be great if you want to just copy it and change the name and city and state(or if you just want to put your state) I SURE WOULD APPRECIATE IT,
I just want what is justly mine. I paid for this thing and I cannot use it. I have made several peaceful attempts by phone and email to resolve this. I am simply being ignored.
My name is Amber Morris and I am writing on behalf of my mother, Cheri. She received a shrimp butler from you last week that was of no use because the handle broke off the first time she used it and the model you sent her was obviously refurblished(i.e. superglued back together).
At this time, I respectfully request that you send her another shrimp butler promptly at no charge to her.
This is my opinion is the only fair way to handle this situation.
