I wakened,
to the sound
of crows fussing,
in the early
mist of dawn.
Then they hushed,
as if their work
had been done,
and I was left, alone,
with no comfort.

I saw a bunch of Robins in my yard last month. Aside for the low temps, and a bit of snow, Winter hasn't been bad in my area- as compared to other parts of the country. Still, I want Spring here in all her glory!:)
Great poem, Virginia.
