I took these pictures of the same flower in front of my house in Salem, Oregon to post to my "Before and After" group at http://beforeandafter.gather.com

Mars Capaletti: Thanks, I really appreciate it. I actually didn't even take much time with these photos, only because the purpose of taking them was to add to my Before and After group. In fact, the pictures of the one in bloom were taken as my truck was warming up and I looked over and told me husband that we couldn't leave for dinner yet. I ran inside, grabbed my camera and took the shots. Hopped back in the truck and he said "Oh, taking more pictures I see." They actually turned out warmer than I wanted them to, but I am happy you like these!

I still can't get over how knowledgeable you are about different kinds of birds, bugs flowers, animals... well anything "nature"! It is amazing to me. How did you learn so much? we have a daffodil festival near my home every year. It's acres and acres of daffodils on a hill. Great place to take pictures. These are some of my favorite flowers
