Good Day YaYa's & Friends ( Update On Miss Emma )

Hello everyone,

Just a note to keep you posted on my Mom's condition. We did bring her home from the hospital but we are STILL waiting on pathology. We know it is cancer . It is in her lungs ( trac),liver,ribs and spine. We are waiting to see how much time she has left and then she will determine if she want's to take Chemotherapy as radiation is not a option. The waiting is killing us all. My brothers had to go home but my sister is still here from Michigan. TY all who have send get well cards they do bring a smile to her face.

Tonight is a healing service at her church we are going to try to take her. I will be staying over there 24 7 once my sister goes home.

Please continue praying. My worry is, I do not want to see her suffer as so many have. I pray the Lord takes her quietly in her sleep.

Friends TY so much for you continued support. I wish I had to time to thank each of you but you know who you are. I have so many emails to reply to I just have not had the time to be on the computer. Hopefully things will settle down once we know what is going to happen.

I hope she doesn't suffer much. My mother had cancer of the lymph nodes and suffered.

I am so sorry. Please be strong. You are lucky to have a loving mother. And she is lucky to have you. Thoughts are with all of you.

You will all be in my thoughts and prayers. We just lost 3 people close to us to cancer and it is usually not an easy way to go. I hope she either recovers or her pain is minimal. We can hope for the first. You both sound like a loving mother and daughter. I still have my mother and father here and I feel I am very blessed. I am not looking forward to the days when I lose them. I hope for the best for you both. Think Positive!! It does help how you handle unpleasant situations.

I have been away and didn't know! I also went through it with my mom but she found out and had it removed. it was on her kidney,just started and was lucky to find it so soon.You and your family will be in all my prayers.

Thanks All! Today we take her to see how long she has and the treatment if any she will take, It is in her throat so nights are horrible for us all. We went to a healing service last night and that made her very happy to see her church friends.
Please pray I stay as strong as she is! Her appt is at 11:30.
Her friend is still in from Maryland and my sister is still here. I don't know what I had done without them this last couple weeks. And you all have also keep my spirits up. TY Again
I don't have time to write a update so I just put it here.

Janet -
I am so sorry. For some reason, pathology takes too long - my friend is also waiting on the results for her husband. The wait seems endless... but you'll get through it. Of course my prayers are with you and your Mom. A healing service is always a good idea.

Janet, I am so glad that you posted this. I have been wondering how your mom was doing. Prayers are going out for you all. Make sure you have help from HOSPICE. Along with her doctor they can make sure that there will be a comfort kit available to ease any pain or agitation near the end. There is no reason for her to suffer in any way. This way you can be with her and not have to worry about her potential pain. God be with you all.
