Hillary: Be Real Black For Me!

I watched both Obama and Hillary in Selma, Alabama on C-Span over the weekend. Obama is an excellent orator, and he connected well with his audience, though he was a bit of a kiss up -- the theme of his speech was that he should be president because the 'Moses' (the MLK generation) got blacks 90% of the way there, and now the 'Joshuas' (his generation) need to bring blacks the rest of the way (to the White House).

But Hillary took the cake. She actually broke into a southern drawl in an attempt to connect with the southern blacks. You've got to hear this -- it's hilarious -- and TRUE!!!!

Truth is stranger than fiction. And if you really think about this, she is speaking to the Civil Rights generation -- and if you go back to that time, Hillary was a member of the Young Republican's -- as white bread as you can get!

All pols "kiss up." Southern accent, shoot she sounds like a black southern preacher there for a bit. She is a phony as they come and that saying a lot for a politician.

Even Obama made use of the word 'for' and pronounced it as 'foe'. Just heard that on Rush. Good stuff - makes Monday bearable ;)

And for all the black folk reading this, believe it or not, I do know my music. "Be Real Black For Me" is Roberta Flack and Donny Hathaway. Hathaway is one of my favorite singers.

ty - I think what is even more telling is that Obama is looking like he's going to take the nomination. He is wel spoken and all that, but the man has no executive leadership at all. It would be a disaster to have him as president. Anyways, I would rather run against Obama than Hillary - she will be tougher to beat. So, I'll pump up Obama so the dems get the weaker candidate ;)

Obama a disaster? After eight years of the worst president in history, you'd make a better one! No, Obama has approximately the same experience as Abraham Lincoln and he turned out to be one of the greatest! You are right, Hillary will run a tough campaign and not give much mercy to anyone. Of course, Bush has done the same as do most anymore!

I gave you a 6, because the title made no sense. Don't forget, Don. Bill and Hillary Clinton reside in Arkansas and last I heard, Arkansas (is considered) a Southern state. All politicians kiss up for votes, Republican, Democrat, Independent, whatever. This is politicking, kissing up. Did you hear Mormon candidate, Mitt Romney? "I love to veto! I can't wait to get my hands on Washington!" Who is that buffoon trying to kid? Anyway, a woman or black man for president will never happen. Hillary and Barack will have to attend picnic gatherings wearing kevlar body armor.
