I have been inspired by everything I have learned about quantum physics and the law of abundance. I'm ready to start putting into action some new habits that will help bring peace, joy, health, and wealth to my life -- and to the world.
I like the idea of the 100 Day Challenge, but I'm not interested in keeping a video blog. They suggest a daily post to an online journal instead, which I thought about doing, but I'm finding I'm doing more of my journaling on the train each morning and night and don't want to waste time transcribing my written journal to a blog. It's not a good use of my time. This has led me to think what IS a good use of my time?
One of the great things the 100 Day Challenge has going for it is accountability. You put out there that you are committed to this challenge, and whoever reads/watches your blogs will know when you skip a day or, worse, completely give up. There's a wonderful benefit to connecting with others for support and motivation. So, what's another way I can accomplish that without a blog?
One of my other loves is snail mail. Since I was a kid I have loved having a pen friend. Receiving a letter in the mail is like receiving a gift. Writing a letter is like writing a journal entry. Putting something out in the mail gives me a physical connection to the ripples and waves of positive energy I'm putting out into the world every day. I can just imagine all the people my energy touches as it passes across the world through the hands of postal employees.
So, to connect my love of snail mail with my desire to put some world-altering changes into motion, I am starting a Positive Change Round Robin and everyone is welcome to join.
First, what is a Round Robin? In short, it's a group of people who connect via snail mail. It starts with someone writing a letter and mailing it to another. The receiver reads the letter, writes one of her/his own, and mails BOTH letters (the one received, and the one written) to the next person in the Round Robin. This continues with letters going to 4-6 people before the entire packet goes back to the person who started. The starter takes out his/her original letter and replaces it with another letter.
Round Robins are cool because you end up receiving a packet of letters from 3-5 people. It's like getting together with a group of friends and soaking up all of their positive energy and ideas and joy. As you read their letters, you get inspired and re-motivated to continue your own journey. You write a letter and pass the packet along knowing that it will come back to you again with even more inspiration. It's a wonderful way of seeing that what you put out into the world you receive back in greater measure. You send one letter, you receive several in return.
In this Positive Change Round Robin, the members will share their intentions, their practices, their progress and stumbles and successes. Imagine receiving a newsletter written directly to you from others on the same path offering their support. That's what this is all about!
Please reply to this post if you are interested in joining me on this journey. If many people are interested, I'll create manageable groups. If you have suggestions for making this an even more effective project, just let me know. I'm sure I haven't thought of everything.
I'm looking forward to meeting several of you through snail mail, learning about the ways you want to put the universal laws in motion and supporting you in that journey.
