First, there was the " Race Card ". Then came the " God Card ". Actually, I thought that the illegal immigrant supporters had used every card in the book to support illegal immigrants until I stumbled upon the " Share Card "
U.S. Citizens, I hate to busrt your bubble, however now we must share half of what we have worked hard for all of our lives with illegal immigrants.
We have an obligation to share equally all that we have worked hard for all of our lives with the illegal immigrants. We U.S . Citizens should feel guilty for what we have worked hard for, and we should share it with the illegals. Actually, God requires this from us, and we are " racist " of we don't comply.
In fact, I would more than likely stay away from these illegal immigrant threads if it weren't for the stupid bullcrap articles playing the " Race Card ", the " God Card ", and now the " Share Card " in support if illegal immigration.

First: Most immigrants, illegal or otherwise, already pay taxes because they have to have a social security number to work--'magine that? Granted these SSN's are not legally attained and someone is making a pretty(illegal) penny off of selling them, there is over $7 million dollars annually going into the Social Security coffers that will not be touched by the people who put it in there(dock workers, hotel/resteraunt/service industries--most workers pay into Social Security). They also do not file tax returns. Now, if they are in low paying jobs, that's not a lot of taxes, but I'm sure they're leaving more in the U.S. Treasury than Cheney.
Second, if an illegal is hurt on the job, he/she cannot receive Worker's comp--another bonus for the businesses that higher illegal immigrants.
Third--where is your alleged outrage for the businesses that hire these people? I don't see you screaming or ranting about making Wal-Mart pay for using illegal immigrants as janitorial staff(and then being so arrogant about it that they get caught not once, not twice, but something like 5 times doing it). What about Swift-Premium? Still going to Wally-World cuz it saves you a couple of pennies? I haven't shopped there since the late 80's due to their employee abuse and how they treat small businesses--I put my money where my mouth is.
Third from www.cis.org, a pretty good source of information on immigration in general, Mexican immigration, legal and illegal, accounts for about 43% in this country in 2005. This leaves another 56% from the rest of the world and in my area, the rest of the world means Polish, Russian, Irish--oh, but they're white folks. And don't forget that since we caused the chaos in Iraq, there are many people who are now refugees who are seeking asylum. Political asylum. Do you just turn your backs to them, also? We are the reason they have no home, the reason they are now tortured.
Cudzuqueen, nice to "see' you back. We missed you're smiling face.
The combination of illegal immigrants, outsurcing of U.S. jobs, and U.S. factories closing and moving overseas is KILLING the U.S. middle class.
As far as the stolen SS numbers, the problems that can cause is endless. What if an illegal uses your SS number to obtain a loan, and then defaults on that loan ??
Kim...I'm with you about Wal-Mart. I worked for those bastards for 15 years, so I know what they are all about. What really irks me is when I hear a friend of mine bitching about Wal-Mart, then the next day I see his car on the Wal-Mart parking lot. I won't step foot into a Wal-Mart. I'd rather pay more somewhere else than to give those bastards a penny.

Thanks for the link.
Leti...according to Wilkepedia estimates, 57 % of illegal immigrants in the U.S. are from Mexico. The other 43 % are from other Latin countries as well as from Asia, Europe as well as former Russian colonies.
Also, Wilkepedia estimates that there are appx 500,000 illegal Chinese immigrants in our country, and China won't take them back once they have received deportation orders.
Pay attention to this Chinese issue. They are now drilling for oil off of the coast of Cuba, and the have bought some U.S. land to build Chinese owned factories here.
Timothy, I'll look in the Chinese issues. Ha, I look at my shoes, my shirts, my notebooks...made in China.
Leti..You are starting to learn.
That's Mandarin Chinese by the way. Get used to it. We are all going to be required to learn that language if things continue to go the way that they are going now.
Wrong in many cases.
I run a staffing service and in 2006 we had many illegals who got through our scrutiny by using stolen social security numbers. Every one of them had claimed EXEMPT for state and federal taxes withholding and paid ZERO. They did pay FICA withholding.
Twice, I offered another gather member a truce. They've remained silent, but will continue to oppose my views. What does that say? That they refuse to find a middle ground?
Eamon, maybe I spoke too carelessly. Exactly what did the poll ask the 1,000,000?
China DOES own us...it is getting harder and harder to find American-made items of any kind...we should truly fear them...they are much, much smarter than most.
Empathy does not require anything beyond itself and it seems that for you, it isn't real unless it does. It seems you want us to go beyond understanding to acceptance in order for the understanding to be legitimate.
You have said many times that you don't have the facts about the economics of this. It might help you to do some research and find that truth so that you can truly be understanding what people are so upset about.
So, because I won't mince words and put pretty bows on it all or say that I believe we ought to allow these peole to stay in our country and pay for them and invite some more-to you that is "frenzied anger?"
I don't have any "frenzied anger" towards anyone. I have a frustration base in the realities of it.
Perhaps you are projecting?
Post your Social Security number and I will make sure that your number gets into the hands of some deserving illegal aliens. Then maybe you will come to understand what you describe as "frenzied anger" toward illegal aliens.
Your comment about the 1 million illegal alien protesters being extremists is not what I see in the real world. I arrest illegal aliens everyday. About 90 percent of them insist that they are not criminals and have the "right" to be in the US.
Their physical presence in the US is evidence that they have committed a crime and their arrest is a direct result of their decision to do so. However, illegal aliens believe that the end justifies the means and any crimes they commit (fraud, forgery, identity theft, illegal entry) are of no consequence because they are, "Just looking for a better life."
Maybe that's why most US citizens are against illegal immigration.
John W
I am really sick of all these people posting "these poor people pay taxes and social security, and never benefit from it." Well for one thing if they provide a SS#, it's stolen, and that theft is harming an innocent American, secondly, those funds can cover the medical and educational costs that they do run up.
New Haven CT is willing to take, keep and support them, so I think they can have them.
However Leti, There is a much larger picture at hand here, and racism has nothing to do with it. Our jobs are being outsourced to other countries, our factories are closing and moving to other countries, and the illegal immigration invasion is in full swing. All three of these problems are putting U.S. citizens out of work, and all three of these problems are destroying our middle class, which has driven our economy for as long as I have been on this earth.
John W, don't be an ass about posting my SSN. Why do you mistaken my attitude for being pro-illegal; because I'm not screaming 'illegal invaders' and 'criminal' and 'cabal' like others? By the way, what do the illegals say when you capture them? They try bribing you? Whenever we'd go to Mexico, the Mexican border guards would give my parents crap about 'papers' for the car. They told my dad they'd also accept other 'paper'...namely dollar bills. This was back in the 80's.
Lisa, I said the frenzied anger with was with SOME of you. And please spare me the dime-store psychological profile you insist on doing... Why do you continuously try to find something to fight about with me? The gather member I was talking about that I offered a truce was YOU! If we're too busy always fucking fighting, we don't reach an understanding. I've even listed questions for you so that I can find a common ground with you, and all you did was make fun of me. The simplicity of it was to wash out the burning bridge before it was too late..
Timothy, thank you, sweetheart. I mean that. And I am very concerned. I am very concerned because our leaders who are educated, powerful, and smart are supposed to protect US, their constituents. Jobs ARE outsourced; I.T. was hit BIG-TIME in Seattle, and my brother-in-law passed the chopping block (they were outsourced to India). I DO notice how everything is made in China or Taiwain. I used to think the 'savings' were passed on to us...nope. The big, fact difference goes to BIG Corps. I am very concerned because whether you like it or not, it's also a social issue that impacts people's self-perception, too.
To my best estimates, appx 90 % of the goods are made in China, and the 10% of the goods made in the U.S. are paper goods, food products, household chemicals and health and beauty aids.
It doesn't end there though. I'm hearing reports from Canada that a Hershy's factory in Canada closed and moved to Mexico.
Also, the Fisher Price factory in my town closed and moved to Mexico, putting a lot of good and hard working people out of work. Then to add salt to the wounds of the displaced workers, they were required to train the Mexican workers to do their jobs or else they would lose their severance package. While training the Mexican workers, the soon to be unemployed Fisher Price workers were taunted by the Mexian workers by slurs such as " Train me Gringo because I'm going to take your job "
I think a couple of paper mills also closed in my mother-in-law's hometown; put tons of people out of jobs.
You seem to have missed the point of my statement. If you were the victim of identity theft, fraud or other crime committed by an illegal alien, I'd bet your perspective would change and you would understand the "frenzied anger" you attribute to other people.
Also, I don't "capture" illegal aliens. I arrest illegal aliens who have knowingly committed criminal acts. Although many illegal aliens have tried to elude arrest, none have ever attempted to bribe me.
Finally, there is no need to use foul language. You weaken your point and show a lack of class.
BTW, ICE racially classifies Mexicans as white, of Hispanic origin.
John W
Crazy racist Larry, I AM AGAINST ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION. I WANT THE BORDERS STRENGTHEN, I am American proud, Navy VET. I AM more than anything you can ever be...you have said malicious, nasty racist things and now you are saying that I want the U.S. to be hospitable? Puhleeze. You're a liar and a racist.
I to see all this being past around as if it were truth. The left wants them for there votes, the church wants them for members, and the criminals want them for slaves. Its all crap they hope to push those that don't want them into allowing it. The truth is that their numbers are growing by the day in hopes that the government will give in to allowing them to stay and that is clearly not a wise move on our part.
Thank you for posting this article!
How many of your relatives fixed their papers during the last amnesty?
John W
PS; If you want to see a racist, all you need do is look in a mirror. It is amazing, of all the people who have posted their thoughts on Tim's article, you are the only one to use foul language and play the race card. You sound just like Senobia!
Statement from Los Angeles National Conference:
NATIONAL MAY DAY MOVEMENT
FOR WORKER & IMMIGRANT RIGHTS
May 1st, 2007 we will be out in the streets, not shopping or selling, if possible not working; but Marching.
On February 3rd & 4th, 2007, a Conference hosted by the March 25th Coalition culminated in a call for a national day of actions for workers and Immigrant's Rights. The day, May 1st, 2007.
During the two day conference, representatives from around the country came together in Los Angeles, Cal. and agreed on a National Campaign to bring about true comprehensive Immigration Reform. From New England to the South West, from the South to the North West, people came together at the Lioya Law school to begin to map out a plan of action leading to May Day mobilizations.
It was agreed that it was the unprecedented massive presence in the streets during 2006 that stopped the draconian and fascistic Sensenbrennen Bill from becoming the law of the land & that we need to be on the move again to further the cause of Immigrant and workers rights.
People left Los Angeles unified and committed to building unity with other forces around the country around the need of once again having the many millions of undocumented workers and their families partake in raising their voices along with the rest of the people in this country.
This most take place in order to now put an end to the intense raids and deportations taking place around the country, and stopping the President's push towards guest workers programs which only benefit Corporations and enslave Immigrant workers.
This urgent & immediate need must be addressed as the first step towards achieving full legalization for the 12 to 20 million human beings living in the shadowes and persecuted in this country while their labor and consumption is a cornerstone of this country's economy.
May 1 is the next necessary step towards a comprehensive Immigration Reform Bill that does not tear apart families or criminalizes the millions of people who have been forced by globalization and the so-called Free Trade agreements to leave their families, communities, country's of origin and ways of life, to risk their lives and come here to work
Behind a set of demands and Points of Unity which include:
--Stop raids and deportations
--Money for social services, not war
--Stop & reverse militarization of the borders of the Americas
--No to "free trade" agreements, including: NAFTA, CAFTA, FTAA & all FTAs imposed by U.S. Trans nationals
--Immediate, permanent, non-revocable legal residence for all who live in the U.S.
--Stop the Minutemen, KKK, Neo-Nazis and all racist organizations
--Access to higher education for all undocumented students
--Immediate Reunification of all families
--No criminalization of those giving aid to immigrants
--Full Legalization for All NOW
--Equal Rights for All Workers Now
--Jobs for All NOW
It was agreed to hold a National Press conference on a date yet to be determine as well as local activities leading up to a National boycott and Mobilizations on May 1st, 2007

So my point is why are we all getting emotional ? If it were mandated that all races go back where there ancestors came from we'd all be elsewhere no in the US....then there'd be no ozone issues in the US it would be bare .
So where do we go from here . We need to educate ourselves , Stand up for our country and vote for a President that is going to do what the People want not what he feels is best. We have been failing ourselfs in the top Man we choose to run our country . He gets a document that the People >US < demand , reviews it and his signature is the stamp of approval . So before we get hyped up on immigration ..remember it was one of our fellow americans that initiated that step ....
First, all of our ancestors came to this country LEGALLY. What is it about these two words that people do not get----there is a difference between LEGAL and ILLEGAL immigration to this country.
When our ancestors came here, they also had to go through health checks. They had to prove that they would not be a burden on other US citizens or society. They came here, learned the language and assimmilated. They did not come here and DEMAND that they be provided with jobs, healthcare, an education, etc.
You really do need to wake up, and do some research on all issues before acting like you are telling us something that we do not know.
At the present time, there is only ONE presidential candidate that is definitely on our side regarding the illegal invaders, and his name is Tom Tancredo.
Several of your articles have been flagged, and since I never saw Senobia's or Jackie Beltrans flagged, I was wondering what there is about yours that got it flagged.
The woman is very nice. This is the message that I left with her.....
"I said.......Your honor, please help us to save our country. We are losing our country as people from a foreign nation are invading and taking over our cities one by one---and gaining more rights/privileges than US citizens. Is this the type of country that you want to leave your children and grandchildren? If things are left as they are---violence and poverty are going to prevail---as our country slips further and further into third world status. Please let Mayor Barletta enforce his laws against the illegals who are destroying his city. Again, sir, please help us to save our country."

What a GREAT article by the Washington Times!!!! Look at the bottom to see who wrote it!!
The Hazleton rebellion
By John Armor
March 10, 2007
"Local jurisdictions across the country, beginning in Hazleton, Pa., have decided they need to act to control crimes committed by illegal aliens in their towns. A variety of laws against illegals as tenants, against illegals as company employees, and in favor of English as the required language, have resulted.
The dimensions of the problem are clear. A recent Justice Department audit (reported in The Washington Times Jan. 9) revealed more than 70 percent of illegal aliens arrested in the U.S. had previously been arrested for five or more crimes. The crime problem is compounded when you add the financial costs of additional medical care, additional education and additional police and prisons, due to illegal aliens.
Everywhere local Hazleton-type laws have been proposed, or passed, the counterattack has come from the American Civil Liberties Union and its ally, the Puerto Rican Legal Defense and Education Fund. They claim such laws are beyond the power of local government since immigration is solely a federal issue. They also say such laws discriminate, since most illegals are non-Caucasian and speak Spanish.
So far, the local or federal courts that have heard the cases have accepted one or the other of these arguments. Many local governments, like Arcadia, Wis., have backed down after being threatened with litigation and its costs. But with the help of legal charities, Hazleton intends to see the case through to the Supreme Court.
Based on published sources and contact from people from various states, I estimate upward of 1,000 local governments stand ready to enact such legislation -- if and when the Hazleton ordinances are upheld in the Supreme Court, as they should be.
Actions concerning the health, safety and welfare of a town's citizens, including provisions about where people can work and do business have been part of the power of a "municipal corporation" since the late Middle-Ages. This is not new.
These local ordinances do not usurp federal powers -- they all take federal law and the applicable facts as a given. None change in any way the federal definition of who is, or is not, an illegal alien.
As for the claim of discrimination, it is the personal choices of non-Caucasian Hispanics from Mexico, rather than Caucasian English-speakers (mostly) from Canada, to come across largely undefended U.S. borders and wind up in Hazleton and other towns across America. The Supreme Court has ruled in several cases that statistical inequalities based on individual personal choices do not amount to discrimination.
There will then be a direct contrast between the crime rates and expenses in Hazleton-type communities and the "sanctuary cities" like Los Angeles. LA has enacted Special Order 40, which forbids its police officers from enforcing immigration laws or even asking suspects about their immigration status.
The contrast between these two types of communities -- between the results of the laws they choose to pass or not pass -- should force the national issue. At long last, even Congress will be compelled to act to gain control of U.S. borders.
The contrasting approaches to the problems of illegal immigration are beginning to rise above the level of local government. Legislation similar to the Hazleton ordinances has been introduced in both the Georgia and California legislatures. They may pass in Georgia. They will almost certainly be defeated in the California legislature -- though passage by initiative may be possible.
The key, however, is what happens in subsequent court reviews. And that will depend on the Hazleton decision.
Shays Rebellion in 1786 was a citizen uprising that brought about justice for unpaid veterans of the American Revolution. The Hazleton Rebellion of 2007 is a citizen uprising which can bring about justice for all citizens of the United States.
Note: This is a fast-breaking story, best followed on the Internet. Anyone interested in its development should use any search engine for combinations of "alien" with "crime," "death," "welfare," "education," "medical care," etc., to find the latest stories. These will usually be local stories, since the national media have not caught up to this aspect of the subject. Don't bother to search for "illegal aliens" since that phrase, though accurate, is seldom used: It is not politically correct."
John Armor has filed 18 briefs in the U.S. Supreme Court, and has been legal counsel to the American Civil Rights Union since 1998.

The Time for Complaining is Over
By Jan Herron
The illegal alien invasion is more than ("I just want to put food on the table,") illegal aliens wandering across our borders, it is a massive "conspiracy" on America, aided and abetted by our "blinded government" as well. With 12-20 million illegal aliens camping out in our country, the invasion has now touched every citizen in America.
This invasion must cease immediately. Join Roger Hedgecock in Washington, D. C. It's time to get off the couch and let your voices be heard loud and clear. No, not just a few of you. We need millions! Roger Hedgecock of San Diego (also substitute for Rush Limbaugh show) together with many other talk show hosts throughout the US will be in Washington April 21 - 26, demanding a stop to the invasion of illegal aliens into our country.
Over the last 10 years, Roger has taken large groups of his listeners to Washington, DC to lobby Congress on key issues. Once again, he is asking radio talk show hosts around the country to join him in a national effort culminating in five days of citizen lobbying on Capitol Hill for immigration reforms.

It seems that the only organizations that want people to believe this invasion is racial, are the communist agenda people such as Marx, Lenin, and a few pro-illegal people. Most Americans are smart enough to know that the racial issue their trying to imply, is purely propaganda
Another thing. If this was a racial matter, why would the largest number of LEGAL immigrants to the U.S. be from Mexico by far? That debunks the whole racism thing. That's like saying "I think John hates Black people, even though he always invites all his Black co-workers to his Barbecue". It's a poor analogy, but the only one I could think of.
The other big protest in DC is either the weekend of June 9 or the weekend of June 16.
No problem about the posting.
You are right, it is not a racial issue----those are just the cards that they like to use when they have no argument. Also, why would all of America be fighting for the release of the Border Patrol agents----who are Americans of Mexican descent----if this was a racial issue.
In addition, Hispanics/Latinos have also formed their own groups for fighting the illegal invasion such as "You Don't Speak For Me".
GUATEMALA CITY, Guatemala (AP) — President Bush's message of goodwill in Latin America ran into a wall in Guatemala on Monday, as his defense of U.S. immigration law met with disapproval from his hosts.
Bush's meetings in Guatemala City with President Oscar Berger, a conservative leader who has become a strong U.S. ally, were dominated by trade and the difficult issue of immigration policy.
Bush pleased Guatemalans by promising to push hard, and quickly, for changes that would include a temporary-worker program for illegal workers in the United States.
He said he thinks it is possible to wrest legislation out of the U.S. Congress, still deeply divided over the issue, by August.
But he gave no ground in the face of questions over deportations of illegal workers, such as a raid in Massachusetts last week.
Federal authorities detained over 300 employees of a leather goods maker — most from Guatemala and El Salvador — for possible deportation as illegal aliens. The raid left dozens of young children stranded at schools and with baby sitters. (Agency seeks parents' release)
"The United States will enforce our law," Bush said. "It's against the law to hire somebody who's in our country illegally."
Responded Berger: "The Guatemalan people would have preferred a more clear and positive response — no more deportations."
Berger did say he "was very pleased" that Bush sees it as a problem not just for migrants and their home countries, but Americans as well.
Bush left Guatemala on Monday night and flew to Mexico, where he plans to discuss border issues Tuesday with President Felipe Calderon on his last stop of a five-nation tour. The tour is aimed at challenging a widespread perception that the United States has neglected the region and at combatting the rising influence of Venezuelan leftist President Hugo Chavez.
Fighting poverty, drugs
Many who have protested Bush's visit don't agree with U.S. immigration policy and believe current trade agreements between the countries have kept Guatemalans from rising out of poverty.
The distribution of income throughout Guatemala is lopsided with the richest 20 percent receiving two-thirds of all income. More than 7 million Guatemalans live in extreme poverty.
However, one issue where the leaders found common ground was the battle against drug trafficking.
Guatemala wants technical assistance, such as helicopters, radar and other equipment, for the fight.
Bush praised Berger's commitment, and said he wants the U.S. to work with Mexico and other Central American countries on a regional partnership to halt drug trafficking and gangs……
