Isn't the snow great?! I'm much happier with this than I was with our bitter cold temps a few weeks ago. Took the long way home and got some snow shots, so I should be getting a few of them up on Gather soon.

Lynn, your picture of the accident serves as a good reminder. People! Be careful! Even if you have four-wheel drive you don't always have four-wheel stopping power.

Darn digital camera is broken (it's an early model, not sure if it's worth repairing). The sun is bright today! Reflecting on the HUGE mounds of snow around Two Harbors. It's Saturday AM and we are still digging out. I'm loving it, we need the moisture so bad and this snow is such a gift. I love that the snow gives us a much needed break in our hectic lives (nature rules), but at the same time I find myself hoping everyone was safe! The snow and wind mix we had up here was exciting to view from inside my warm abode---but dangerous if you were out in it.

This time I got all explore-y and actually ventured behind Minnehaha falls, into the fairyland ice caves. I didn't even fall or break my camera or anything!
