of illusion.

PUSHING

CRUSHING

DEMANDING

to be

the center

of a world

that only exists

in your pain.

I will not.

I refuse to.

Remain in

this fantasy

you'll never obtain.

Leave it alone.

Trading fantasies, endulging each other's hope, sometimes leads to join work-in-process that becomes real as the blueprints direct the building and re-construction of empathy and laughter...But here in this poem the "unattainable" is not set aside for new dreams, the floundering one is pushed back in the water, but the imperative, "Set yourself free" is offered so it ends in hope....
