I wanted to be a nun when I grew up.

And no, that did not happen.

I wanted to be a lot of different things . I dreamed about being a country music singer, later on in high school I thought about being a teacher, a counselor.a missionary or a minsters wife and a mother. Well, as it turns out I married a minister , so that dream kind of came true. And I am the mother of twin girls . I have got to do things and go places and experience things that a lot of people have not .

Wendy: Thanks for responding to my questions. I love to hear how people saw themselves when they were children, how they imagined their life would be, and how their lives really turned out. I read your article about how you wanted to be a country singer... I think that's so great, especially since you said you couldn't carry a tune. Your article was really cute and it's neat that you can remember all those lyrics still. You know... I think it is so great that one of your dreams came true - marrying a minister! Your twin girls are also a huge blessing and I know you have enjoyed being a stay at home mother to them. They are very good people and they have you and Ron to thank for that. You are so lucky to have been able to do all of the things that you've been able to do. One thing that I really want to do is travel. I'd love to go back to where my family is from: ITALY. I'll write more about that later though!

You certainly fit the theme. As for my childhood dreams.. I always wanted to be an architect. I did end up receiving my architectural degree, but ultimately decided to pursue other career paths.

first of all I would just like to say that I think that you are one of the most kind hearted and beautiful woman I know here on gather so if you don't win don't get bummed out. Secondly I would be happy to vote. And third I always wanted to be a singer and a childlren's teacher of some sort. Unfortuantly the only singing I do now is when I play my keyboard and when I sing to my kids. As far as being a teacher it hasn't happened yet but i have faith that it will.

I wanted to be an actress when I was younger. I even had some acting classes through school. I got offered a few modeling gigs but my stepmom and dad wouldn't allow me to do them when I was younger.By the time I hit the age of 10 I knew I wanted to do something with law enforcement. I debated on being a detective or a lawyer. I stuck with law enforcement up intil after I graduated. I went to a vocational highschool and majored in that. My goal became to become either a criminal profiler or a district asttorney for the prosocution. Obviously I'm not there yet and I'm still debating this but my priorities are different. I didnt go to college nor did I have the money too at the time. I end up married to my highschool love and since we have a baby my main focus is being a stay at home mom. I love it! I still am debating going back to school in a few years still with law enforcement in mind. However I'm looking for a job I can do from home and think legal documenting is what I'm most focused on. My family comes first and I truely feel as a mom you can't give the best to your children if your carreer is way more important then them. I also debating interior design, journalism and believe it or not carpentry or masonary when I was younger. My dad and father are both plater mason's by trade and for awhile I thought it would be great to keep that skill gone in our family. I have a bad back and realized it wasn't for me though. My brother on the other hand is in carpentry now and I still think it would be fun to do, but only as a hobby. So, my goals have changed alot at the moment and I'm still debating what else I may become other than a mom/housewife. It may come try one day who knows. I also have another goal and I'm currently in the process of working on trying to write a children's book. Hopefully one day I will get it published.

I just got back from voting and had to come back to say that, although, you say you are not a beauty, I could see your picture hanging in an Italian art museum as one of the classics of the Middle Ages. True, you don't have the look of the new American Beauty, also known as "Barbie." Your's is more of a longer-lasting, classic beauty. I think the picture is awesome and yes, the tattoo is beautiful too.

I wanted to be either a ballerina or a medical doctor when I grew up and neither one panned out. Last thing I imagined myself doing is working for an attorney in a very boring probate law firm.

When I grow up I want to be sane again and a working actress cause this poetry business isn't too lucrative!!!! I was a professional stage actress at 11 but quit early due to my fear of success/failure and couldn't pursue drama after college because my illnesses interfered.
