G N-N: I Didn't Watch "The Black...

I didn't watch the premier of NBC's new show The Black Donnellys last night, despite heavy hype, being positioned after the best show currently on TV imo (Heroes), and brags of being written by the writers of Crash (the good but somewhat cliched Crash, not the kinky car wreck sex Crash, which I haven't seen but would like to) & Million Dollar Baby.Â

That's a really long sentence, isn't it?

I'd like to be able to say that at least The Black Donnellys shows that "the thug life" isn't restricted to blacks and hispanics...

But no, these guys are trying to save their family and neighborhood or somesuch. Eh. I watched CSI:Miami instead. If NBC were smart they'd buy the rights to show the new Dr. Who and park that after Heroes, instead.

H•E•R•O•E•S is worth turning the tube on. Really. You can see all the previous episodes online to catch up. Of course Hiro Nakamura is my new true love so I am a little biased.

I'm skeptical. Besides, I have an unnatural thing for the Horatio Kane character on CSI: Miami.
He's just so white. Need sunglasses white. And he stoops. And took enunciation lessons from Bill Shatner.
Gawd I feel dirty.

Yes, I know. I live with an archaeologist and have some interest in forensics myself. I admit to watching some crap...
But it relaxes me, and we don't have cable.
