One of the best, most recommended tools for writers is reading. Reading other writer's published work not only familiarizes you with the quality expected if you want to be published, but also inspires you by presenting new ideas that spark inventiveness of your own. A third reason to read frequently, especially within your writing genre, is to see what's been thoroughly covered so that you don't write overused themes and cliches.
With all this in mind, I've set up a lens for reading Speculative Fiction online. All the works are free to read, and have been (to the best of my knowledge) put on the various sites with the author's permission. (It's important to remember that it's not OK to post someone else's poem or story without their express permission, so don't. It's not homage, it's copyright infringement.)
Enjoy, and then go write something.

I hate reading on line if I can avoid, but I may actually have a copy hiding under my bed. I'll have to check. And if I don't, I can buy it for two bucks plus postage on line.
Thanks for reminding me.
