I have noticed that many folks create wonderful articles and include photos that are not inserted into the body of the article. It took me awhile to figure out how to make this happen, and I thought I would share the process in case there are others who would like to know.
To insert photos in your articles.
1. Upload the photo.
2. Make sure the photo you want to insert is displayed on the upper right side of the text editor page (you can scroll through them using the arrows).
3. Click on Larger Image (this option should be above the photo to the left).
4. Click on the picture, and holding the mouse button down, drag it into the Text editor. (It is usually a good idea to have the cursor in the text editor at the spot where you want the photo, as it will be automatically dropped wherever the cursor is.)
5. Close out the new screen with the larger image and repeat for any additional photos.
I have found when creating photo essays, that it helps to upload all the photos first, then insert them all in the body of the article, and then add your text. There seems to be less chance of losing everything this way.
