Yes , i watched the Oscars

In the wee hours of the night i tip to the t.v.

i search the channels, where are the oscars?

Where is the glitter of hollywood that makes everything

seem covered with gold and wonderful and what is beautiful

is good .

I finally locate the Oscar nights broadcast through the German network

which means i got to watch the British actress that played the queen of England

say Hello Germany with a wide smile

we are all in this together

Arthur Cohen is being interviewed

though he seems a bit reserved as the German actor

sends his love to his  children who are watching this broadcast live.

I am back from the dark underground tunnels where the washing machine is washing

and i am a cinderella watching the ball

admiring the evening attire

i wonder who is washing their clothes

and what about the house with the swimming pool

seems a high price to pay for pretending to be someone else

and living other lives so the viewing audience can escape for a few hours

those dark tunnels near the earth, and the many hours washing clothes.
