Tennesse Williams/New Orleans Literary Festival

To pass along a bit of information, the 21^st Annual Tennesse Williams/New Orleans Literary Festival will be held from March 28-April 1, 2007 in the Crescent City. The annual festival features national and regional scholars, writers and performing artists.

The Festival, which is governed by a voluteer board of directors, is an annual five-day event which features panel discussions, lectures, literary walking tours, a bookfair, a one-act play competition, as well as musical and literary performances.

This year's literary guests include two Pulitzer Prize Winners, Richad Ford and Yusef Komunyakaa, along with best-selling authors Haven Kimmel, Michael Lewis, Sharyn McCrumb, and Calvin Trillin. There is also an extensive list of other participants.

hi Sweety I thought about going but won't be able to - don't you remember my piece, Tennessee and Me talking a bit about the festival - I'm glad you've reminded everyone - it's a terrific festival and I get an invitation every year! I hate to miss it but I'll be down there all summer so may catch The Deep South conference in Lafayette. Salud.
