New lens: The Body Farm
If I were a horror writer*, it'd be something I might dream. A really gross, decomposing dream, but no, it's real, and one of the smartest research facilities ever. If you enjoy any of the current forensics and crime lab shows, or more importantly, have had a crime commited against you or a loved one that was solved by modern forensics, you should thank The Body Farm and its creator, Dr. William M. Bass.
It's also, at the time of this post, the only such facility in the United States.
*I have published horror poetry, but that's another post.
