Of Man

      One more attempt at sharing another side of my writing.  My two earlier presentations were of a more rhythmic nature.  This is of yet a different style, but still allows the point across in a somewhat easy flow.  (I'll save the dark material for another time.  Those works will also show another part of my mind that has not been displayed...the deep, black recess where who knows what dwells.  I've made you laugh.  I've made you cry.  I've made you think.  I've made you feel warm all over.  But when you read those, I'm gonna scare the living hell right out of you!)  And I promise, I'll return with my humorous outlook on life very soon...promise!

                                                                 Of Man

Is it wrong for a man to feel; to cry; to emotionalize

A true, open love for one another as a fellow being

Color, race, imperfections are all irrelevant and unseen

Man lies with man and with beast; tribes of the earth live together in peace

Each and every land of this land will then all walk hand clasping hand

Love and acceptance - joy and elation - sharing and caring

Living is one humanity we need to respect; not agree

Pride in who you are as you...and who others are as themselves, too

Foes become friends laying down their arms to all raise their hands as one

Working together and feel the pride with tears streaming down soft cheek

Back to the bare basics; not all of what man has made is so good

Fading cultures, native tongues, scarce wildlife saved before they're all gone

Rain forests so deep and so green, where the waters fall so serene

Take care mother earth and her magic and she will look out for you

Protect our home 'ere it's too late - the future we know not, nor fate

It can't last forever, so don't rush it if it can't be reversed

It's not that far-fetched if all hear the word and take heed as it spreads

To become real in our lifetime is what we can strive to achieve

A power greater than we've ever known if we all make it work

All one God - one earth - one mankind - hope, happiness, harmony
