The Court just announced its decision in the Anna Nicole burial drama.
He determined correctly that Danilynn is the next of kin (well d'uh). And ruled that her guardian takes custody of the body. It is unclear whether that is the Guardian Ad Litem appointed by the Court or Howard K. Stern. However, the Judge also ruled that Anna Nicole's testamentary intentions were clear and that the body is to be buried next to Daniel in the Bahamas.
It took a circus to get there but the correct decision was made in the end.
May she rest in peace.

And no, Rob, this is just stage one in a process that will probably go on until Danilynn is old and gray.
I guess the lawyers and the judge all got their three days of fame and none of them came out looking pretty. For that matter none of the parties come out looking pretty either.
In a news conference, with Arthur standing by their side, Stern and Birkhead said Smith's body would be returned to the Bahamas and buried alongside that of her son, Daniel, who died of apparent drug-related causes last year.
This was apparently an hour before the appeal was filed although lawyers say that an appeal won't stop the burial because it could take months. Since the mother is not the next of kin, she needs to be tossed out on her ass.
