To show that I have a serious side and am multi-facetted, I decided to continue sharing some of what else I'm all about. This is but the lighter side of my rhythmic writing as future posts of the poetic nature will show I can be dark, as well. I'll save those until I'm "in one of those moods".
Tell Thee Of Love
Thee must know; I shall tell thee in the now and here
Must tell thee 'fore thee go, when I'll speak through shed tear
Most utter the word, yet know not it's real meaning
Old lessons wrought with insight lost in the gleaning
Forgotten tomorrow, here today, the past gone
To false ones anew many so easily drawn
The same, yet so different, more ways to express
Defined, pure, true emotion; don't wait, so confess
First, it's thy own family; begins in thy veins
Then friends, some come close, share in good and all pains
Look for one to be equal; to treat as life's mate
Produce fruits of union; feelings nothing as great
To exist as thee want; choice to make, thee are free
All rights being honored, thee can't help but to see
None that will suffer; with enough, thee at least live
Those who have more, share it; step up 'fore asked to give
Wonders we all enjoy along this trip one way
Bare souls bubble forth with foam froth eager to say
As I speak, deep and true, put my faith all above
Only those so deserving, I tell thee of love
