I have been a yo-yo dieter, a diets-don't-work fan, and a I-just-don't-give-a-damn eater over my 43 years. This year I've made it a goal to eat more healthy and get more physically active. Sure, I want to lose some pounds in the process, but I know what is most important is my eating and exercise habits. If I focus just on losing weight, I'll never develop the habits I need to have a healthy body.
This time around, in addition to the change in focus, I'm adding visualization and affirmations to my daily routine. So far I have visualized myself being more active -- doing things like snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and biking. I have used affirmations such as, "I eat only the foods my body needs" while I meditate.
I would love some suggestions from others who have used visualization and affirmations to reach their health goals. What worked for you? I'm having a difficult time putting myself into the visualizations because I don't know what I look like at a lower weight. When I visualize skiing and snowshoeing I can see myself bundled up, but I don't see my face. And I'm not sure where to go with a visualization related to me having more healthy eating habits. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Those of you who are more in tune with the Law of Attraction, how can I put out a vibration that will bring back to me situations that will support my desire to increase my activity level and eat in a healthy way?

Great concept.
Jennifer it's what has worked best for me. YOu're in visualization mode. Keep it up.
Thanks for the suggestion!
