If you use Safari, you may have difficulty seeing images in the article above.

Adding a button to an article is very easy. However, getting the buttons to link to your group's join and subscribe function is not. In one of my recent 'Sunday Help Series' articles, I explain a technique for promoting your group, that can be easily combined with a button, or just a simple link. I will send you a message on this, with some simple instructions.

1. Since I don't have anything to publish to this group, I probably don't need to Join
2. Since I would like to read the latest gather news, I might want to Subscribe but I'm not sure if I need to.
3. If I subscribe, group articles will be included in "Articles for Me"
4. I am connected to you. Therefore your articles are included in"Articles for Me"
5. Am I overlooking something - is there another advantage to joining or subscribing to this group?
That isn't a 'dumb' question at all! With the large number of groups we all belong to, it is important to minimize or eliminate redundant notifications.
Currently, I am publishing all Buzz 'NEWSFLASH!' articles under the GROUP name, and not my own. Thus, you will only receive notification of these articles if you are subscribed to the group, or are a member. That is why I offered a choice of buttons.
However, I am looking for a few members to assist me as 'correspondents' that can help to monitor specific areas of Gather, and publish articles to the group. For example, I am on the cash option, and do not have the ability to easily monitor gift card pages. Thus, a correspondent would notify members of a change in this area (new gift cards denominations, or Gather Points Partners). Additional correspondents would 'report' on other areas, as their interest dictates.

I would like to say sorry for taking a while to get to your article. I have been away from gather for a while and I am finally getting to the 3000 plus emails I have awaiting me on here to go through. so I am starting from the most recent received to the first I ever received.... So now I am finally able to read your piece. Thank you for sending me the link to this article.
