No Borders this week. Instead, we're doing our weekly writing session live from the Applebrook Bed & Breakfast in Jefferson NH.
I've got a mug of green tea and we're sitting in the inn's common room by the wood stove. We're both pretty exhausted from a day of snowshoeing in Intervale, but we're ready to get creative.
Last week's goals: Two poems and at least one comic review.
Last week's results: I wrote one poem, which I posted here on Gather. I did read and review two comics, which will go into an upcoming comic review column, probably for the next issue of Comic Widows.
This week's goals: Write one poem, begin work on my next story in the Luminations series for The Edge of Propinquity, write one script for my comic strip The Hearth, read and review two comics.
I think I'd also like to pose a "Question of the Week" to the writers out there. So wherever you are, if you're writing tonight, post a comment, let us know where you are, what you're working on, your goals for the evening, and (if you'd like) answer tonight's question.
Question of the week: What is your preferred beverage while writing?
My answer: Hot tea of various types. Tonight it's green tea. At borders I usually go with white cranberry or sometimes jasmine.
Wishing everyone out there good writing tonight!
-Rick
