They're just a jumble of words thrown together; sometimes not in proper order, sometimes used out of context, sometimes misspelled, sometimes they don't make a bit of sense except to the person who arranged them that way. But this isn't being written to tell you how you should write. Quite the opposite. It's to encourage you to write any ole, damn way you want. Write in whatever style you want, write about whatever you want, write as much or little as you want, write for the reason you happen to choose.
I'm one to pay attention to smaller details sometimes more than the major issue right in my face. My best friend can tell you I'm more of the type that sits back, drinks everything in and observes what's going on around me and who's doing what. Occassionally, you'll even see me refer to things "according to my observations". (Picture me as Mr. Spock saying that phrase as he would, complete with facial expressions.) Well, according to my observations as others and I have connected in our network, some of you don't even write at all!
Hey! Whut's up wit dat?
I mean, I know there are reasons a person can't get to it all of the time. Writer's block is always a problem. I have it constantly! And you'd never know it. Before I sit down and start writing, whether it's an article or a comment, I have absolutely no idea whatsoever what the hell I'm going to say. And then it starts, like a cramp...and it all just comes gushing out...kind of like (sorry if it grosses you out in advance, but this is the ONLY way I know how to descrive it) the written runs.
There are times, many times, people simply get just too busy to be able to sit down and write their thoughts down when they haven't even been able to sit and collect them. I'm not even gonna bother listing those reasons out of sheer number. I'll make it easy for us all. We'll make this audience participation. "I wish I had the time to write more, but I just got so darned busy with (Fill in the blank)____________." That should just about cover everything!
Things always come up where one might not write for a day or two, or a few, or a week, or now we're starting to push our luck for any length after that. There are exceptions, but I know there's no excuse for others. (Spock impression) According to my observations... (pause) ...some writers ain't been writin' nuthin' at all. Like I already said, whut's up wit dat? In all that time you haven't been writing you can't tell me there hasn't been anything you could have or wanted to write about. (Knocks on noggin and waits to hear if there's an echo)
We can all find reasons not to write. But there are always reasons to write. And we don't always have to have just one reason, just as we have a multitude of emotions. Whatever we want to express, in whatever way we want to say...just write it down. Could be one word that somes up how you feel. But every novel starts with one word! Oh my, that almost sounded intelligent. Did I just say something like that? I really have no reason why I write...really. If I had to come up with something, though, I'd say it's because I'm too lazy to read, so writing's easier. I don't write for myself; I already know what I'm saying. I write for others. Maybe somebody can make some sense out of this and get something out of it. Whether it's to inform, share, spread a smile or make someone laugh out loud, go ahead and write. You can eventually come up with a moment or two to write. It doesn't have to be a life career. Just write something. No word written that's ever read falls on deaf ears.

I am not a good writer and so I do not feel secure in writing. I have attempted it, but not much.
Cheers!

So that trip to Jamaica was a story you wrote Michele, not an actual trip you three took? Well, you had me convinced.
