Custom Banners and Icons for Gather Groups

I love making graphics! Here's some groups I made banners and icons for this week -  view the group to see my banner and icon:

I think tomorrow I will post up a tutorial on how to make a custom group banner - would anyone be interested in learning how to do that? I use PSP X, but a lot of what I do can be translated for the graphics program of your choice. I will take some screenshots so it's easy to follow along with what I'm doing. 

I will also include instructions on how to use LunaPic , if you don't have a graphics program on your computer. LunaPic is a great graphics editor on the web that's pretty easy to use.

I wouldn't mind making a banner or graphic for your group either, if you don't want to try your hand at your own. Of course, my time is kinda limited by the million other things I'm doing (not to mention, the three teenagers I'm raising!) -  but if you give me some idea what you're looking for and don't mind waiting a few days or more, I'll see what I can do.

Cool. If you're going to do that, will you please join my new Webdesign Group and post your tutorials there? I haven't done anything with that group yet so this is the first time I've mentioned it to anyone.

That would be great! Especially if it's in a language I could understand. Would that include how to come up with a graphic by my username too? Although I have come to adore my little sillhouette, I feel it does not do the name "DragonSoul" justice. Something's lacking...lol

DragonSoul, Your icon by your name is just an image you publish and you can set it as your icon after you get it on here.

Its great that you're doing this. I think the artwork will add some legitimacy to the site. I like to see gather moving in that direction. Good work. Thanks for helping.

I can't wait. I'm good at taking photos and editing but I couldn't figure out how to do the banner. I'm techno dodo who despite a tutorial still doesn't know how to post a link!
