I'm a biologist and soft hearted and people assume I will take in anything. In fact, one day I came home and there was a big ugly sucker fish in a plastic thirstbuster cup on my front doorstep.
You know, it took me about 2 months to find someone who would take my suckerfish when I had to downsize my tank. No one wanted a foot long one in a glass tank thinking he would crack the glass..... I finally had a friend that was setting up a 200 gallon tank and told him with that much room a pleco would not be slamming into the glass.
What type of snakes do you have cinnamon? I am currently pet free (I have two fish in a 10 gallon tank and a stray cat that I brush once a week) but used to own snakes, cats, dogs, tons of fish, ducks, bunnies, and have had a pony.
Yeh those suckerfish turn into monsters. I think if you keep them long enough they will turn into a krakken. I have two albino burmese pythons, 2 red tailed boas, two cornsnakes, and two albino kingsnakes. Can you believe all the big snakes are rescued snakes? People lose them in their houses or actually release them into parks here. Unfortunately the desert is no place for a tropical snakes. One of them was nearly dead after being attacked by a dog. Can you see why I can't say no? Wow, sounds like you had quite the zoo as well. What kind of pony? I've always wanted an Icelandic. Someday I'd like to have some sort of equine, I need to move first.
Oooh sounds like you have some pretties. My pony was actually an accident when a arabian mare was courted by a miniature stallion. The dad literally was thigh high when he tipped his nose up. What a cutey. I bought him from a man that was going to put him under because he could not afford to care for an unridable pony, so I bought him and had him 1 year and taught him some sociol skills. Found him a home with a man that taught riding lessons and how to groom and care for horses when I divorced and lost a place to keep him. I do not think I could ever throw an animal out. I have seen on TV about how people release big snakes when they can not find a home for them and need to get rid of them, that is awful.

oh yes cinnamon u can say that again biologist do get paid crap.. .......since I'm studying to be a zoologist my self i know what u mean.. but more or less i LOVE it and all the animals (except Arachnids....i cant stand them!sorry) ohhh i have a zoo at my place tooo 1 dog 8 turtles fish and 35 birds
