Two Word Challenges from February 2006 through July

This is republished from when I wrote this in July, when James F. hosted the two word challenge, "fifteen minutes." At that time, I included all the challenges from Feburary of last year through July, 2006.

As the sky is gathering thunder,
We eat with sublime abandon,

My marriage is a  wedded lunacy,
 All in a  night's revenge,
 Oh, what a peculiar prelude this is,
 To live in eternity's mansions,
 With fuzzy edges all around the memory,
 I  eschew obfuscation,
 Preferring clarity at all times,
 So saith I to my bottle,
 A bottled promise to all,

 To replace my  coddled insanity,
 And to your ineffable chagrin,
I live in abject opulence of my mind,
 Oh, better that than to die in icy repose,
Such  pure evil this is,
 More than a mere  crystalline fantasy,

 Or a long night's howling hedgehog song,
 This is more than tepid judgment,

Love lies in its unwise  August affair,
And now all this,
Is my  fifteen minutes of fame.
