A most inviting haiku, Jan, with an imperative I accept
in my mind instantly, knife out in the mind before I knew
it was lifted ready to stab into soft green lipidic flesh
and smear onto tongue that first "frisson,' its silky flavor,

I have two enormous avocaco trees in my back yard and one is now producing HUGE and satiny tastes of a sensory slice of heaven we share, Jan, I adore them...and Calfornia artichokes make me swoon.

John, I wish I could send you a crateful.

My email has been out for days and I have tried to send some to you both...but, sighs,....there is a powerlessness that I must now submit to until I finf the culprit.
Take these whispers of California Muse and add an avocado, a spoonful of crabmeat and a peppery lemon/mustard vinagrette as my finest way of sharing right now.
