Viva Las Vegas!

We made the trip to DisneyLand last month, we ended up stopping Las Vegas for a night.

I am so glad that we went, it was something that the kids will always remember. I dont know when we will be able to do that again.

The trip started with us running from a winter snow storm that was fast on our heels, we left on Thurday morning around 8:30.  We stopped in St. George for a little shopping. I am not sure what time we arrived in Las Vegas, but we had made reservation at Circus Circus, if you are wondering where to go in Las Vegas with kids, I highly recommend this place. They have everything that you could dream of, including an indoors amusement park, an assortment of resturants, everything from fastfood to fine dining. A slew of souvenier shops, of course a casino, and a circus act. It was a little overwhelming since we were all so tired from the driving.

We made reservations at a place called the Steak House, while we waited for our reserved time, which did not come soon enough, we wandered around the amusement park, let the girls ride some of the rides, they loved it! We also went to the circus, it was very entertaining!

When the time came to go to dinner, we were very hungry. The Steak House is a very nice place that I would have rather went to with just my husband, (like that is ever gonna happen in the next 10 years!). I decided after looking at the prices that our youngest, who is 4, would just eat off of my plate.  I cannot remember what cuts of beef that we each ordered but they were all different, I ordered a filet mignon, I think McKaylah ordered a ribeye and Carl a porterhouse.  With our steaks came a sald,  whipped potato with garlic and baby carrots.  The steaks had no seasoning on them, but I am a big fan of salt so I dashed some on my steak. It tasted better. I ended up eating McKaylahs steak, she ate mine, and Carl ate his own. The potatos were wonderful.

When we recieved the bill, I was shocked to see $150. plus tip was due. I could not believe it, but I have to say that the service was impeccable! Would I go there again? uuuggghhh NO!

After we ate, we were all so full that we went back to our room and were asleep by 8:30 p.m.
