Hillary is a lady, has always been a lady and in spite of all the negative publicity she remains a lady in everything that she dose. She cares about all Americans and the American way of life as it was before the Neo-con’s rush to destroy the middle class. She believes that America should be defended with out trying to take over the world or to make the rest of the world mad at us.
I remember the Arkansas invasion by Jerry Falwell and his “Religious Right’s” ministry of lies and deceit. Richard Mellon Scaife and his payoff in millions to the “Arkansas Project” and the millions that the US Government allowed Kenneth Starr to spend and on top of that and a lot of wasted time but they found out that Hilary had done nothing wrong. They have tried awfully hard to break her but they can not and that makes them mad.
All of those ill-conceived E- Mails about Senator Clinton in particular and the Democratic party in general that have nothing at all to with anything except vicious slander makes my mind wonder back to the mid-1930s and the day that my brother and my self were playing on a narrow strip of land that lay between a creek and a wagon road. Of in a distance we could hear a man and his fox hounds that we thought were responsible for the death of my big brother’s hog coming our way. Being young ones and not mature enough to know better than to sling manure we spied a fresh cow-pile, quickly covered it with dust and molded it into little balls then we hid over behind the creek bank. First we let the barking hounds go by then our target, a man who was mounted on a big black horse, was right in front of us and with hands fling and the balls splattering we covered him with cow manure which I reckon that the E-Mails are intended to do. But that was the folly of kids and I do not believe that grown mature folks are supposed to act that way.
Now I know that some of you that want to vent yourselves, say all of the nasty things that you can, because when it is over, win lose or draw, Senator Clinton will still be standing tall and will go on serving in any way that she can. Then I want each one of you to come after me and tell me what you want to say because I want to answer each one of you in each and everyway. Exchange thoughts instead of braying like a bunch of mules or hiding behind those computers and punching that forwarding button and sending out those immature E-Mails like kids passing damaging notes at school.

Very well stated! I agree with your article regardless of where Hillary winds up in the final voting!
Some view Hillary as an elitist. I see her as intelligent, tested by fire, experienced in all aspects of politics and government and, yes, foreign affairs and matters of war. She will be innovative, and consistent with her previous voting record, on health care, and other domestic issues. Bill is part of the package, for better or worse. I think he would make an excellent first husband, or is it gentleman?
btw, I like Obama, Richardson, Kucinich, and especially John Edwards. How nice to have choices again. There is even one republican I'd conceivably vote for -- though he hasn't tossed his hat into the ring. [The republican front runners are all lightweight in the ethics department.]
She is, as Missy W. says, intelligent, experienced in some aspects of politics and government -- but not in war. She is also selfish, driven, narrowminded, coarse, thoughtless, vicious and completely lacking in ethics and morality. Like her husband she is really good at telling people what they want to hear.
Well said.

AU's Lynn Says Justices Should Protect Right of Citizens To Fight Government Promotion of Religion
The U.S. Supreme Court should affirm the right of taxpayers to challenge the Bush administration's use of public funds to support religion, says Americans United for Separation of Church and State.
In a friend-of-the-court brief filed today, Americans United urged the justices to uphold precedent that allows taxpayers to sue when the government uses tax dollars for religious purposes.
Americans United called on the high court to hold that three Wisconsin taxpayers have legal standing to challenge President George W. Bush's creation of the White House Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives and other promotion of his "faith-based" agenda.
"We hope the Supreme Court rules that taxpayers may go to court to challenge government spending that supports religion," said Barry W. Lynn, executive director of Americans United. "Public funds should not be used to advance religion, and Americans must have the ability to prevent that from happening."
In Hein v. Freedom From Religion Foundation, the Bush administration is urging the Supreme Court to overrule the 7th U.S. Circuit of Appeals and other federal courts that have upheld taxpayer challenges to government expenditures on religion. The administration argues that legal precedent only allows taxpayers to question government appropriations if they go directly to religious organizations.
Americans United, along with the American Civil Liberties Union Foundation, the Anti-Defamation League, the Baptist Joint Committee for Religious Liberty and People For The American Way Foundation, said the Bush administration's analysis is flawed and an attempt to block citizens from fighting for their constitutional rights.
Citing a 1968 Supreme Court decision, the groups' brief noted that history "vividly illustrates that one of the specific evils feared by those who drafted" the First Amendment "was that the taxing and spending power [of Congress] would be used to favor one religion over another or to support religion in general."
The 23-page brief concluded that the high court should protect the principle that, "When taxes levied and appropriated by Congress are spent in violation" of the separation of church and state "a taxpayer may constitutionally challenge such expenditures because he suffers a direct and concrete injury that is caused by the illegal expenditure and that would be redressed by enjoining it."

As to the article. Yes, Hillary has always been a lady. She's also shown vision for America which is sorely lacking in our government today. I say Go Hillary Go.
As to Hillary staying with Bill after he cheated on her. Forgiveness is a funny thing. Usually the people on the outside never understand why or how it was given.
I respect and admire all of the decisions that my daughters make. My daughters are just fine, Rich. They have had two good parents all of their lives.
Yes, I like my daughters. I can see reasons why people stay and reasons why people leave, Rich. I admire people who stay in their marriage and work things out. There is no reason to believe that they haven't made a happy arrangement between themselves within their marriage.
Thank You

You said: "Sunnye T. and Mike O. Of course you are entitled to your opion but in my opion you are far to rabid to discuss anything with.
Thank You"
I like your assessment of what makes a good candidate and I like your style and your response -- I'll have to remember this. You might want to comment at John Edwards' article here on 'gather.' Since I commented here earlier, I've changed my mind about the potential candidate, who has been keeping a very low profile, and have checked his voting record. Nah, doesn't give a hoot about regular people; definitely leans toward the special interests.
Rich Kaye,
See above and, yes, you're too rabid, and homophobic, and obnoxiously pugilistic, for words.
I can't imagine any two daughters being luckier than to have you for a dad. I've always admired how you stay so even handed in your responses but have to confess that I'm glad you're not totally perfect and used the "idiot" word. Heh heh.
