My husband and I were having no success in finding a babysitter for our four children for an event. We were discussing options at the dinner table when our oldest son, 8 years old, chimed in.
"How much do you pay the sitter?"
We told him.
"That's 3 times what I get for allowance every week. I'll do it for you!"
Before we could even explain that he was too young, our 6 yr old son and 5 year old daughter exchanged glances across the table. The 6 yr old spoke up,
"And if you give us some of the money, we'll even be good!"
