It's 7:00 a.m. I've been up for about an hour - was having nightmares so gave up in frustration before my alarms even had a chance to be annoying.
Hubby told me last night to wake him up and he'd clear the driveway for me but I so did not want to do that - he hasn't been sleeping worth a plugged nickel in the last week or two ... as if I'm going to wake him up when he finally does manage to get some real sleep! So I did it... not a great job - I have some health problems that rather contra-indicate snow shovelling ...but I managed.... with a little help from a passing snow truck guy .... I had pushed some snow across the road - knowing we're not really supposed to do that, but figuring I'd clear it later - and he came by and cleared the road for me.
Then I came in and talked to my kid for a bit on MSN - she still hasn't been to bed yet, the turkey! Don't think the sleep clinic & specialist she's been going to are working for her.
And then I irritated my MaInLaw some - changed, repositioned, medicated & fed... she was restless anyway, and it makes hubby's mornings easier if she's had a head start.
And now I'm off to school, since they haven't obliged me by closing on account of weather... the one nice thing is that the prof of the class I normally have after the one I teach in the morning has already sent out an email cancelling hers... since I was going to miss it anyway, that works for me.
Feel like I've put in a full day already - and its only just begun.

Even though you're tired, your sense of humor shines through--"irritated" your MaInLaw--which is so key to getting through times like this.
As a current full-time worker/part-time student and former part-time caregiver, I can only imagine what you're going through. You're a strong woman, and my hat is off to you. I know it will pay off for you.
