The Walwyn & Hatfield Times in the UK has reported that a former Met police officer was standing outside the YMCA on Feb. 30, 2007 when he saw a UFO hovering above the hostel on Peartree Lane, WGC.
Merv Nymn Told WHT he saw a massive spacecraft with lights in a triangular formation. It made no noise and then shot off at a high speed.
"I've never seen anything like it before," he said. "There's no way it was an aircraft. If it was then it was the biggest one ever made! It was amazing."
Nymn said two other people were with him at the time, but did not look up before the craft sped away.
"Now nobody believes me. They said it must have been a stealth military bomber or something but what would one of those be doing around here?” he asked. "I know what I saw. I was pretty chuffed afterwards. I've always wanted to see one and now I've fulfilled a lifelong ambition!"
