The kids play and eat cheese crackers, taking the tops off to scrape the filling with their teeth into their mouths.
These children are not yet near that age when they might question their direction, choosing now to throw chairs and run in circles, laughing until they hiccup and fall down.
The teachers act like any meaning found in their careers is no more signficant than book bags spilling open onto the floor.
Just a little chaos to endure and tidy up.
What will these children do when their life spills open like a book bag?
Littering the floor with their crumpled homework,
Broken pencils,
And empty lunchboxes.
Perhaps they will sit in a blue room with a grey keyboard,
Watching kids and teachers...
Cleaning up a mess.
