Today is Cindy K’s birthday. Cindy lives in Yorba Linda, California and has been a member of gather since July 31, 2006.
Cindy has been married for over 20 years to a wonderful man. She is a cash applications clerk for a fortune 500 company but also work during the tax season for H&R Block for the last 14 years.
Cindy has been writing off and on since high school. She wrote for the school newspaper and then started writing again 7 years ago. She runs a diabetes website on Bellaonline where she writes all the material. Cindy also writes fiction for fun and would like to be published someday.
She tells us that she always needed a way to express myself and as an outlet for things that were bothering her.
Cindy’s hobbies include: writing, scrapbooking, photography, dancing, traveling.
Cindy also likes chocolate and nature. Her pet peeves are people who have their own agenda and people who are phony.
The social issues that concern her are diabetes and health care.
Cindy states: “Getting married was the greatest since I was marrying my best friend and champion, and another important event in my life was traveling with my mother before she died. Us girls took a week long cruise a few years before my mother died. It was one of the best weeks I had and glad I was able to experience before she died.”
The one thing that Cindy would like to do that she has not already done is to travel the world.
Cindy’s favourite birthday memory was when, “my husband surprised me with a group of our friends meeting at Medieval Times. My husband almost made it until my brother in law blurted it out a week before the event and I had to act surprised at my surprise birthday party.”
If Cindy could have any birthday wish come true she would want a cure for diabetes.
Happy birthday Cindy from all your friends at gather, we hope we have made your day a memorial one.
Note to the birthday club members. If you have not yet submitted your birthday dates to me please to so. I need to prepare well enough in advance. Furthemore, when I send you the questions to do your celebration I need to have them back, at least one day prior to your birthday.
