Hey Correspondents,
Is your topic area showing up as a moderated group for you?
When I first started, it seemed like Music Essentials was unmorderated - or at least, my content went straight through from when I posted it.
I posted my Soundtracking article last night, but so far it hasn't shown up in music.gather.com - it's really starting to worry me.
My Weird Al article went through right away - I hope they didn't confuse that for my weekly offering. I just wrote that up while listening to some Weird Al last night.
My Soundtracking article is this interview with Yellowbird Project ... and I hope it actually gets where it's going.

Some of the groups I'm involved in moderate to keep unrelated material from being published there (and justly so.) This is probably another reason for highly popular groups such as the "Essentials" ones to become moderated.
Fred, I agree with the sheer number of groups. It gets confusing to me as a newer member. As far as where to post, I have joined many similar groups and when I post something new I post it to all of them that hold relevence to my material.

I like being called a correspondent
well, my article didn't appear at first, which si what I was expecting from a moderated group -- but now it is there twice...so I'm going to see if I can delete one of them, as it is the same article, just with images in different order.
fred, I don't think essentials groups are just for correspondents. I think they are just another way to point toward content among the many choices. I believe dragonsoul has a point, too about moderating being a way keeping the flow of material focused on topic. robert, I like your comment. thanks!
