I've seen some great digital scrapbooks online but I can't figure out how to do it. Does anyone on here digital scrapbook and if you do, could you give me some pointers. I'm learning how to work our paint shop pro but I'm not the greatest at it.
I've found some great sites where you can get free digital scrapbooking items and I've downloaded some of them onto a CD http://freedigitalscrapbooking.com but haven't had a chance to use them yet. :(
Other people have told me they use the embellishments and other things for cards, clip art, business cards, notepads, and so much more I just want to try my hand in it and see if I can get somewhere with it.

Just click one of the names on the side, and it takes you to pages much like scrap book pages. I use paint shop pro, and construct the page on layers. Each "page" you see is 1 single image. I found background pictures, used colors like sheets of paper, added a "matte" to some of the images, etc.
Thanks for letting me know that you like this. I will have a lot more time on my hands now that my hubby is going back to second shift and I might be able to do more with it.
Thanks again!

and feel free to say Hi too.
The great thing about digital scrapbooking is that you can reuse the items you get, you can move things around in your photo program until you get them just the way you want them, there's no mess, and the layouts don't make a really really thick book! I use www.heritagemakers.com/174347 to print a hardbound book out of my layouts and they come out awesome! You can also use your digital items you get and print them out and use them on cards etc.
You can get some great freebies here, some awesome kits at reasonable prices, fun challenges to do, tutorials to help you, and a wonderful community that is always ready to help!

They are going to also start offering printing soon, but since they don't yet, you're able to export them to your computer as a JPEG. From there you can put it on a memory card and go print them at Wal*Mart on photo quality paper pretty easily, or you can just print them on your home computer, email them, whatever... it makes for a really neat and really inexpensive gift.
