Simple slide

of the thought process

brought to a halt

without warning.

Now is the time

to pray for peace

within.

Discipline holds

the breathe

of three.

Found in obedience,

freed by faith.

Does strength wind itself

around cords

of reality?

Two and a half chances

brought with a

sweet smile.

I started with some of your most recent poems which read like diary entries... then moved to the start of this series. This is the first one that made me stop and think. I like the format, the pacing, the unpredictability. I think you meant "breath." Four more to choose?
