While working as a Dialysis Technician in Austin, Texas I conducted an experiment on some of my coworkers, Of course none of them realized what I was doing. I spread it out over several weeks.
As I passed by someone, I would start singing the most annoying song I could think of. My first victim was Buddy, I walked by singing, "Flintstones, meet the Flintstones, they're a modern stoneage family." When I came back in the room, I walked by him again, and he was singing The Flintstones. LOL! It worked!
I decided to see if it worked on my coworker Venus. I went by him singing, "George, George, George of the jungle. "Watch out for that tree!" Sure enough, when I went past him he was singing his ass off. I felt giddy with power!
For the next several days, I tried it on almost all of my coworkers. It worked every time!
I decided it was time to try this out on my Boss, who was a real bitch. It took two days to come up with the perfect song for her. Finally it was time. I sat down at the desk next to her and started charting. I very softly began singing, "Nobody loves me, everybody hates me, I'm gonna eat some worms." "Big one's, little one's, gushy gushy gushy one's." One's that wiggle and squirm." "First one's greasy, goes down easy, second one sticks to your tongue." "Cut off their heads and suck out the guts!" "I"m gonna eat some worms!" I repeated it several times, before she told me to shut up. I finished charting and began to set up the Dialysis machines for the next shift.
A little while later, while my friend's and I were in the break room eating lunch, my boss walked in and started heating up her meal. As she was waiting by the microwave, she started singing the worm song. It was hilarious! Everyone started laughing at her. That's when she realized what I had done. She turned to me and gave me the stink eye. I knew then that my experiment was over.
