Molly Ivins.....my hero

The stars at night won't be so big and bright tonite.Â Molly Ivins, writer for The Texas Observer, brilliant satirist, author and most excellent American has succumbed to Breast Cancer.

Wonderful! I was heartbroken when I read of her death. We really lost a hero when we lost Molly.

Well said. I think I've read all of her books, including her compilations of columns. They are still timely and important. We should read them again, now more than ever. She had the (rare) ability to combine world-class wit with perfect insights.
