Dear Gather friends, 

Today one of the most popular Gatherites of all times is celebrating her birthday! :-)

How many of you already know, not only Leah is my best friend, always kind, generous, trustworthy and supportive – in fact, we call each other sisters, and we really ARE sisters, even though we are parted by the ocean. Almost from the very beginning of our friendship we shared our joys and sorrows, our achievements and our problems – like it always goes between the people who instinctively trust each other. We did and we do.

Thank you so much, dear Sis, for bringing me here where I could meet so many wonderful people. Thank you so much for your wit, your openness, your talent and your wonderful sense of humor. Thank you for your golden little heart, always ready and willing to give others love and understanding they need. May God bless you on your most special day with all the blessings He/She has in store, and may you always feel this help and support from above – just like people around you feel your own help and support.

Ray, it's very appropriate that you would wish me a greeting on April 9th, since that's the day in 2001 that I legally changed my name from my father's name of Allan to my mother's birth name of Christensen, a nam that made me just a little more Danish! ;-)
