My life flashed before me,
In a contemplative moment,
Smashing memories together,
In one collage,
And all will be gone at my passing.
Realization of mortality draws closer,
And I ponder life,
as others have before me,
Seeking answers, but left with the question,
“Has my life been in vain?”
My hope is;
someone along the way,
had more to smile about,
or, their burdens were lighter,
and there was less to cry for, or,
perhaps learned by my mistakes,
and became a better person,
all because I lived. Than,
my life is not in vain.
( Let it be so )

I am so touched by this lovely writing! You have been a tremendous inspiration to me since I have been at Gather and I'm sure to many others. Your presence here is greatly valued.
I am always amazed at your talent. You continues to shine. And your work just keeps getting better and better!
I love the 'egg' shape in the second writing. Just beautiful!!!
Keep writing, dear friend.
