In August 2005 I almost lost the love of my life, my husband Joe. He was diagnosed with DAH, and no idea what caused it. It is an autoimmune disorder, and he was losing blood into his lungs (effectively drowning in his own blood). He thought he had the flu, and about took it to his grave. His doctor told me to call the family twice, as Joe was not going to live through the night. Quite scary, but fortunately we had a wonderful doctor/cardiologist, and most importantly the power of prayer, and the Healing Power of Our Lord Jesus Christ - with props to St. Jude. Joe was put on oxygen and tons of medication, and after about a year he was able to discontinue use. Although not quite back to normal, we were never sure if he was just in remission, or cured. In January 2007 we found out for sure...and he is once again in the hospital, although due to be released soon. The last time he was admitted, we had no insurance and ran up a quarter of a million dollars of medical debt. This time around we do have insurance, but have a huge deductible. So I am selling some of our most beloved items on ebay, and this will now be our full time income. We used to have our own painting and drywall construction business, Ceilings, Walls & All, but had to close it down due to his health. Here is a link to our store

Anyway, this is why I haven't been on gather lately, but as soon as he comes home and gets settled back in, I'll be back. If you are a believer, please say a prayer for Joe's continued improvement, and thanks so much.

I will pray for your husband Joe, I will ask that God place his healing hands upon Joe and take this illness away from him, I will ask that God grant Joe strength, that he comfort Joe, give Joe rest, and that Gods peace & joy be a part of Joe's life all the days of his life. I will also pray that God comfort you, allow you his rest, sharing his peace & joy. I will ask that God add to both of your's faith.
I also hear what you have said about the bills, This is something that most Hospitals won't tell people but if you show hardship they can and do file paper work to relieve the bills (can't remember what the name is but its threw the government).
