I think my desk is reflective of my life. Bits and pieces, scraps of paper, old pictures, new picture, some labeled, most not. The papers have bits of information that I thought was important at the time, but incomplete, so I don't always know what the jottings are dealing with.
A collection of note books, note pads, none filled, some with the beginnings of stories, poems, ideas, thoughts, some with the names of people; people I have forgotten the reason I bothered to write them down in the first place.
Then there is the whole e-mail thing...a lot neater, but still the same confusion. Of course, my "favorites", which if I don't delete some soon, will surely spill out of the computer and mess up all the bits and pieces on my clutter desk.
Now this new Gather group, which I have rapidly become addicted, it too, is starting to overwhelm me with it's groups, contacts, friends, e-mails, comments, commenting on the comments, points, and my increasing need to be connected to this site.
