Cedar Point: Lighthouse Point Accomodations??

This summer, we are tenitivly planning a weekend get away with the
older two kids to Cedar Point. We are HUGE fans of Cedar Point, and
used to make the trip every year, but the last time we went was in
2005, and before that, it was 2001.

Anyway, we have never stayed "on property" before, meaning any of
the hotels or what not right on the peninsula with the park. I want
to stay at the cabins in Lighthouse Point, because they accomadate 8
people, and they're fairly cheap (price starts at $135/night). Now,
granted, to my frugal mind set, $135 isn't cheap. However, staying
right there means no extra gas back and forth to another hotel, no
parking fee, lunch & dinner in our cabin (they each have a grill, a
microwave, and a mini fridge), and time saved going to and from our
room to the park.

What I'd like to know is opinions from people who have stayed at the
Cabins or Cottages at Lighthouse Point. I've seen pictures, which
are nice, but how do they feel, size wise?

Also, there is a sleeping loft, suitable for kids. How large is it?
Would an air mattress fit for the kids?

My aunt is most likely coming with us, so there will be 6 of us
total. We'd all fit in the cottages (1 full bed, 1 bunk bed, 1 futon), but the cabins have more
sleeping space (1 full bed, 2 futons, and the sleeping loft), which
is appealing. And it's $5 cheaper. ;) For a two night stay, that
means a snack or two at the park. :p

So, if anyone has used the Lighthouse Point cabins or cottages, let
me know your thoughts on it!!
