I have traveled around the world and like all the people that I have met. They all say how lucky I am to be born in America. Most times this is true, but some other countries are just as nice, if not better, so I try not to get a swelled head.
I worked side by side with people from all countries and many I couldn't talk to, or pronounce their countries name. One thing we had in common was to make some money to better our living conditions. Our work was terrible but someone had to do it, and the pay was the best we could get at the time.
This is working up to the sisuation that we are having right now with people sneaking into our country uninvited. Many even want to take over our country for their own. A fight won with out using the sword, and it seems to be working out. Most of these people are coming from our south and wanting to enjoy what we have to offer.
My question is why can they not do more to change where they are coming from to what they are looking for? Is their goverment so bad, that they don 't care for their people? Is it that the people have given up on their country and do nothing to improve it? I don't know, but I do know that most of these people are potential good citizens where ever they choose to live. They just want to start higher in the living condition, by joining one that is already in better condition then where they now live.
Suppose we take one village in their country and teach the people to improve it to where they would want to stay there and push their goverment to help them where needed. I have watched other places where soon after everything is distroyed, they are rebuilding it back even better then it was, and didn't wait for the goverment to do it for them. Is there something different about these people that we don't understand? Is it possible that Americans coming from these areas years ago were the ones that made us great? They came in huge numbers but at the same time didn't give up on their countries, so we all became better as the result. How many of these people were our desendants? Were some of them yours? Mine were!
