I saw you perform a few times in the 80s and I was amazed at the feeling of community and generosity at the shows. But what sticks in my mind the most was the amazing "carnival" atmosphere of the parking lot at each show. Was this environment something that just grew organically over time? And did the band know that the parking lots were almost as fun as the shows themselves?

In this time of international conflict and confusion what are your reflections on the old "peace tapes" and activism within the musical community? Do you feel you played a role in the peace movement and if so, what was that role? Additionally, do you think we are lacking an artistically backed peace movement today?

There are too many questions to ask. One is how do you feel you were/are able to work together so well for so long? Since the Warlocks how have you grown as people and as a group? Another big question is how do you feel you have effected your listeners and is it ever overwhelming to think about how many lives you have and do change? What other individual interests do you each pursue?

How do you view touring without Jerry?

Are there certain songs that you simply will not play at a show due to Jerrys absence? If yes, what are they?

Does Bruce Hornsby still play with "The Dead" when you tour, or does he just join in on the individual solo projects now?

Questions to each band member: What is your favorite song to play live and why? What is your favorite venue and why?

How do you determine what other groups songs you'll incorporate into any given show on a tour? And along similar lines, how do you all decide (in the first place) what songs you want to play that were previously recorded by other musicians?

Yeah I remember a little bit of the Grateful Dead songs from the 80's but what songs came out in the 80's? Thanks for posting this in my 80's group by the way. I love to talk about music from the 80's
