Parapsychology is relevant to the term 'transpersonal' as it requires all levels of consciousness used and evaluated to understand the basic premise of this type of psychology. You need altered and psychic states of being in order to find some logic, other than by empiricistic measurement, to what appears illogical.

Apparently not enough statistical proof has been documented to show that psi (the parapsychologists generic term for all and any event unable to be measured by anything valid or reliable) is real. It is not to be perceived as an imaginary gift but a gift indeed a tool used to unveil the mysteries our planet and the cosmos offers.

If someone claims they felt or sensed a 'figure' behind, in front of or next to them, chances are they did. What more proof do you need. In society and science 'sharing' the experience is not proof enough because of the labels attached to those that might suggest 'seeing' such things, they would be afraid to be classified as 'crazy'. This labeling is what keeps much of the credibility away from the source and therefore serves only to disprove the possibility that psi even exist. I , of course, know better and choose to use my gift to my advantage.

Paradox has always been my best friend when I can find no other way to cope with confusion or misunderstanding. Empiricism is worthy and cool and all that but experience that when someone tells you about it makes your hand stand up, then WOW !

From the time I was a small child I recall my mother, also a highly religious woman, but not "church-lady", telling me that she believed when someone died they merely stepped off into another dimension. The forth dimension is where two paryllel line meet, or cross rather. So that everone that lived is right here but just in that other dimension. Sometimes I guess, they leak through into ours.I am always seeing what is more than just shadows, very briefly, but something.
