We have a thought process on this planet that says 'it is okay'---it is fine to kill our fellow man, if we do it in retaliation, 9/11. If we are looking for other countries weapons...it is okay.

I am a strong believer that Bush is an incredibly passionate and moralistic individual that firmly believes in the need for us to help the world win the fight against the "axis of evil". He is also incredibly passionate about helping the Iraqi people gain the same freedoms that we enjoy here in the U.S. He took action when so many people just wanted to talk about it. Though we might all have done things a little different (even Bush admitted that he would have also), sitting around was NOT a viable alternative. I believe his actions are just and morale, and I hope that history, if not the people of today, will recognize it.

I find it hard to believe that there are still some disillusion Bush supporters out there but to my surprise there is. If this war was all about bringing democracy to Iraq why wasn't that said at the beginning, first it was a WMD now its about democracy, when really from the beginning it was about OIL because if it is about WMD and or democracy why aren't we in North Korea now, or Rwanda when the genocide was going on or Darfur now, If they had oil we be in a hurry to "bring them democracy " but they don't so no help for them. Although I guess looking at the Bush administration with rose colored glasses would help me sleep at night. Too bad I lost those I long time ago.

This was a good link, thank you. I cried yesterday when a co-worker told me that one of his good friends was on the helicopter that fell from enemy fire this past Saturday. I don't know his friend. I barely even know my coworker. But I feel the deaths of each soldier as a pain in my heart, as well as all of the civilians who have suffered. I can honestly say I don't believe Bush has much of a heart, or he never would've lied to get us into this mess.

I agree with you LaTrice. The people who still support Bush and believe he's honestly trying to help are like the three monkeys sitting in a row ' "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil" They're refuse to go deeper to find the truth. I used to try having discourse with them, but now I just ignore them.

E.L. hit the nail on the head...I blame congress for letting this idiot do what he has done! Anyone who votes for a congress person in 2008 who voted for the war...is an Idiot also....My big question is why?..Why wage a war that is not winable? Were his cronies so stupid that they did not know civil war would break out? My father was an expert on all past wars, and he would be freaking out if he was still here with us! This war was not worth the loss of one of our soldiers...let alone 3040+...plus the 4000+ who are maimed for life so far...If I was president...my country would have to be under direct attack before I would ask our brave soldiers to defend it...That may justifiy the attacks in Afghanistan, but never in Iraq.....E.L. was right..George Bush does not know the pricelessness of one American soldier to their family, their wives, their children....he is a criminal in my mind...who has caused senseless murders of Iraqi citizens, and US soldiers...Saddam Hussien was hanged for that already! George Bush is no better than the 911 attackers!

My Stuff, Are you really that incredibly stupid...to believe GWB had any right to wage a war against a country that was not attacking us? By the way...the 911 attackers were almost all from Saudia Arabia, and trained in Afghanistan! The axis of evil is George Bush, not Iraq, or Iran! The really sad part of this is that Bush has completely ignored or homeland, and the giving away of jobs to countries that have slave labor, and the ignoring of our open border with Mexico....National Security?...where?....We have zero National Security...zero!!!!!!!!!
