Elvis Presley Enterprises seeks Ultimate Elvis tribute artist.

This year, Elvis Presley Enterprises is looking for the one person who can best represent “the legacy of Elvis Presley.”

The Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest will take place at different locations around the world prior to August 2007. The winner of each preliminary round will travel to Memphis to compete in qualifying rounds with the goal of reaching the contest finals on August 17 (during Elvis Week 2007) at the Cannon Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Memphis.

The winner will receive not only the title of “The Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist,” but also official recognition by Elvis Presley Enterprises, a cash prize of $5,000 and more.
