• Why Lejun loves Tequila A nice article articulating the things he likes about tequila
• Angel Wings A nice article where a gather members talks about faith and a personal experience that made her feel closer to God
• A good Day for Emily in which Jennifer (one of my newer connections by the way) discusses a really cool incident with her very intelligent daughter and a wasp's nest.
• What is so important about titles An article in which Jill asks what is so important about titles and yet as of this posting only one person has responded. This deserves a reply from our experience writers as well as those of us writing for fun.
I could put links up all night. There are fascinating debates going on in politics groups right now. There is some great poetry being written (Nudelman for example), there are some wonderful freebies and some fun games. There are nice short stories and very very interesting memoirs. There are advice articles, support articles, and beautiful photographs.
Yes, it is hard when the same types of accusatory fight starting seem to dominate the top of the most read and highest rated sections But, that doesn't have to be the case. I've seen many of Gather's brightest writers getting pulled into these disputes. Look around, read other people and I bet you find, there are a lot more good articles on gather than there are bad. Some of my articles are often responded to by the same group of nice, wonderful and supportive people. Those are the types of people you want to connect with. Connect with helping supportive people and your pages won't look like an extension of the middle eastern conflict.
I'm not leaving, and I hope you don't either. If you are thinking of replying ot this thread or rating it in a good manner - please abstain, I don't want this article in the top of the most read list or anything. Some of those links above, follow them, respond. I'm not connected to some of them. Some were totally new reads for me. Instead of letting yourself get pulled in tonight, make the decision to build up some newer or less discussed gather members instead.

You took a different approach to an opinion that you and I both share, and one on which we have both published an article, this evening. I published mine just before reading this one. Yours is "interactive" in the article itsself, where the only interaction my article suggests is that one would find in the comment section. I think your approach was a truly brilliant one. I took the blunt approach, whereas you took the creative approach.
As for titles, I haven't read that one yet, but I'm on my way there. You want to talk about titles? Look for my article about my journey across the Middle East, and the women I met along the way. ;-)
Thanks, Shelly, for both the "shout out" and the maturity you've just displayed.

if it matters. :)
It is a new day let's enjoy it.
I'm staying. Never considered leaving. I enjoy Gather, too much.
